The Peninsula at Treviso Bay Wins CBIA Parade of Homes Award Again in 2020

The Peninsula at Treviso Bay continues to pique the interest of discerning homebuyers, resulting in stellar sales and new construction. Just last week, the coastal contemporary neighborhood’s Abaco model, built by Imperial Homes of Naples, was honored by the Collier Building Industry Association for Overall Excellence in Construction and Design in the $1,500,001 – $2,000,000 category from the 2020 Parade of Homes.

2020 marks the second consecutive year the Peninsula received this award; the Burano model was also honored during CBIA’s 2019 Parade of Homes. Peninsula’s exclusive golf and lakefront setting is perfectly situated within the Treviso Bay community, with new homes priced from $1.675 million just minutes from downtown Naples.

“Recognition during the CBIA Parade of Homes is incredibly meaningful and confirms our product’s quality. We are thrilled to be honored among other great builders throughout Collier County,” said Curtis Gunther, Development Manager at The Peninsula.

In celebration, the Peninsula extends a special offer for visitors during CBIA’s 2020 Parade of Homes. The 2020 Parade of Homes is being held March 13-15 and March 20-22, 10AM to 5PM. Peninsula’s Abaco model is part of the 2020 Multi-Site Parade, and guests are welcome to view additional move-in ready homes.

All About Abaco

The single-story Abaco is a showpiece within this coastal contemporary neighborhood, amassing 3,196 square feet under air with four bedrooms, optional study, three and a half bathrooms, vast master suite, lanai with outdoor dining area, pool and spa, spacious great room, and three-car garage. The Abaco epitomizes Florida living, with unobstructed views to the lake and TPC Treviso Bay, Naples’ only TPC-sanctioned golf course.

Burano’s Beauty

One of the Peninsula’s most popular designs, the slightly larger Burano floor plan is equally enticing with 3,515 total square feet under air, four bedrooms, four and a half bathrooms, large master suite, lanai, pool and spa, and great room. The Peninsula’s first move-up residents (from within Treviso Bay) selected the Burano floor plan.

Life on the Bright Side

Each Peninsula home purchase includes access to Treviso Bay’s unmatched amenities, including its 18-hole championship TPC golf course, where limitless options for year-round fun at its 7,300+ yard emerald fairways make everyday living comparable to an infinite vacation. Treviso Bay’s TPC course was imaginatively produced by award-winning course architect Arthur Hills, who considers its boomeranged 12th hole (nicknamed the “Long Way Home”) among his best work.

Peninsula members enjoy a 76,000 square-foot golf club house offering delectable dining options plus private rooms for special events, pro shop and lounge featuring billiards, game room and library. Overlooking the 9th and 18th holes, The Player’s Grille presents traditional favorites and seasonal cuisine.

In addition to the incredible golf course and clubhouse, residents enjoy the resort club, Villa Rilassare, a 15,000 square foot facility with lavish resort-style amenities, including a full-service spa, fitness and health club, pool complex and poolside dining at La Piscina. The full-service Utopia Spa offers guests a luxurious array of specialty services. Villa Rilassare also harbors active lifestyle amenities with eight lighted tennis courts, pickle ball, beach volleyball and bocce. A tennis pro is permanently on staff to assist players with their game.

All new home purchases include a golf membership to Naples’ only Tournament Players Club (TPC)-sanctioned course, PGA approved for tournament play and including reciprocal privileges at all TPC courses. Even better, annual golf dues are currently only $3,595, adding unmatched value to these custom homes.

The Peninsula at Treviso Bay offers a new Firenze estate home model recently completed by Imperial Homes of Naples, the exclusive homebuilder within The Peninsula at Treviso Bay.

The 2,881 square foot under air Firenze includes three bedrooms, three and a half bathrooms, a study, great room and spacious outdoor living area. The open great room floor plan was developed in response to prospective homebuyers searching for a smaller residential option with the same high quality features implemented in all homes within the Peninsula at Treviso Bay.

“Our Firenze model is a carefully designed single-family home appointed with the exceptional features, appliances, and designs seen in Peninsula’s larger models, not to mention the same access to the incredible amenities within Treviso Bay,” said Gunther.

The Firenze exudes warmth and volume, with 24 by 24-inch porcelain tile flooring and a voluminous, modern ceiling design utilizing exposed boxed beams.

Upon entering the new Firenze floor plan, guests are welcomed into the foyer with access to the study directly to the right, and the garage and owner’s entry directly to the left. A double door entrance offers direct access to the study, which is appointed with a front-facing window offering views to the well-manicured landscaping lining the front courtyard of the home. The two-car side entry garage affords homeowners private access into the home and to the functional utility room, equipped with washer and dryer, ample counter space, and a large sink.

The open floor plan encompasses a gourmet kitchen appointed with SubZero/Wolf appliances, a dining area overlooking the lanai and a spacious great room. The focal point of Firenze’s kitchen is an eat-in island with space to comfortably seat four. A walk-in pantry clad with shelving space is located at the corner of the kitchen. A dishwasher, natural gas cooktop, oven and built-in microwave are among the appliances incorporated into the construction of the kitchen.

The great room is lined with sliding glass doors that offer homeowners the ability to transform the residence into the archetypal Florida home prioritizing indoor-outdoor living. Firenze’s kitchen overlooks the sitting area in the great room, which is thoughtfully and professionally styled and arguably boasts the most impressive views of all of the interior spaces. Two additional bedrooms are situated at the leftmost side of the home, each appointed with full bathrooms and closets. The guest wing is also conveniently equipped with an oversized storage closet.

The private master suite is located on the opposite side of the home in the right wing, with a master bedroom, dual walk-in closets, and master bathroom. A freestanding tub acts as the central point of the master bath, with openings to the double entry shower located on either side. Separate sinks with distinct quartz counter space line the walls on the sides of the bathroom. The master bedroom is well appointed with an expansive window facing the rear of the home, with views of the outdoor living areas and pool deck.

Two lanais comprise the outdoor living area of Firenze, protecting the outdoor furniture and appliances from the elements. A key feature of the outdoor living area is the full summer kitchen, complete with a grill and exhaust hood, refrigerator and sink. The spacious pool deck is surrounded by lush, native landscaping with long water views of the 18th fairway of the TPC Treviso Bay golf course. A generous area of the pool is dedicated to a spa with waterfall overflowing into the main pool. At the water’s edge is separate patio for a fire pit.

Offered at $1,725,000, the Firenze on Lot 41 is a move-in ready residence currently available within the Peninsula at Treviso Bay. Not only do the estate homes of the Peninsula at Treviso Bay feature modern architecture, six distinct floor plans and sophisticated coastal contemporary designs, they also are being constructed using an exceptional product, AERCON Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (AAC).

Imperial Homes of Naples, led by Development Manager Curtis Gunther, is the sole builder within the prestigious community.

“At the time we started the Peninsula project, we were the only homebuilder in Florida using AERCON AAC in residences, making it a very attractive selling point for potential buyers,” said Gunther. “Its properties have several important advantages over conventional building materials, and it is great for residential applications.”

The benefits of AERCON AAC include superior fire protection (with the highest 4 UL Fire rating), versatility and durability, acoustic and thermal insulation, energy efficiency, and resistance to moisture, rodents and insects. AAC block is also 50% lighter and 50% larger than conventional concrete. AAC can be used in single and multi-story buildings and is ideal for residential, commercial, educational, industrial and public structures. Universities, military bases, hotels, high schools, private homes and churches have all implemented AAC into their infrastructure to ensure strength, energy efficiency, and durability.

AERCON AAC, based in Haines City, Florida, is the leading manufacturer of precast autoclaved aerated concrete products and the only AAC manufacturer in the United States of America.

AAC has been used in the USA in mainly commercial projects for almost 30 years. Although it is relatively new to the American residential market, it has been a favored building material in Europe and Asia for more than 70 years. It was developed by a Swedish architect and patented in 1924 to combat the disadvantages of small, heavy building material with poor insulation properties, combustibility, and decay and termite damage tendencies. The architect needed a lightweight building material with the properties of wood: good thermal insulation, solid structure, and ease of use.

AAC is a mineral-based building material made from sand, water and limestone. These natural materials are major components of the earth’s crust and can be found in almost unlimited quantities throughout the world. They are processed with Portland cement and a rising agent to provide a porous building material which gives the product its exceptional properties: fire resistant/non-combustible, superior thermal insulation, excellent acoustic insulation, lightweight, termite, rodent and pest resistant, ease of workability and handling, universal application, non-allergenic, and efficient construction. Since the sources of the raw materials are abundant, the environment is not robbed of irreplaceable resources in the AAC’s production.

An environmentally-protective production process allows raw materials to provide a building material with a large number of air pores – aerated concrete. In a unique hydration process, the batched mixture of raw materials “rises” and yields three units of volume of AAC for every two units of volume of raw materials. After the risen mass stiffens, it is cut into the desired dimensions and then steam-cured under pressure in an autoclave. During the production process, there is no emission of toxic or environmentally hazardous by-products. During the trimming process, the trimmings are returned to the initial mixture, eliminating the loss of raw materials. Energy is saved in the curing process where steam used in the autoclaves is reclaimed for reuse. These technically advanced processes conserve valuable energy resources. The steam curing production method helps conserve energy since steam curing is carried out at relatively low temperatures and thermal energy is recovered for maximum efficiency.

AERCON AAC products’ lightweight characteristics create energy savings throughout the building process. Energy consumption and costs for delivering AAC products to the project site are reduced due to its light weight. Manpower and equipment required to install AERCON building systems can be efficiently utilized in all phases of construction. The ease in which the material is cut, shaped and placed allows for easy fit-up while consuming less physical energy and requiring fewer fuel-driven machines. AAC’s high insulating properties also provide ongoing energy savings by increasing a building’s thermal efficiency. Since the use of this material can also allow the owner to take advantage of “off-peak” energy use, additional savings can be achieved and reduced demand of “on-peak” energy can be realized for power companies. Pure AAC, not containing any foreign materials, may be recycled into other products.

“Environmentally friendly and energy-conserving, AERCON AAC meets all the requirements of modern homebuilding,” explained Gunther. “No pollutants or hazardous wastes are generated in the process, and there is no waste of precious natural resources. It’s a win-win for builders and homeowners alike, and we’re proud to utilize it in the Peninsula at Treviso Bay.”

This hot strip offers high-end restaurants, theater performances, and regular events throughout the season, such as the Annual Christmas Walk and Tree Lighting. Art has no shortage here, either, with numerous art galleries to inspire the muse. 5th Avenue South is truly the place to find it all.

Many upscale Naples communities are built on or near the Naples Bay, which is just outside of the ever-busy interstate 41. It offers a short commute to Naples’ classic hot spots without wrestling with a steady flow of bumper-to-bumper traffic. Instead, your setting is the lush, green reprieve of estuaries just a short cruise from your favorite haunts.

Sound a little too perfect? The secret lies in its central location and new developments. This area is a gem still being carved by newly planted upscale developments and amenities both within and outside of its luxury communities.

Dine on 5th Avenue, shop on 3rd Street, enjoy the Naples Botanical Gardens, and bask in the sun at the Naples Pier. All within a mere 16 minutes of the Peninsula.

The Peninsula, a luxury golf and lake front neighborhood nestled within the amenity-rich Treviso Bay, offers four move-in ready homes available today. Treviso Bay is a 1,000+ acre gated South Naples community located off Tamiami Trail East, just minutes from downtown Naples and Gulf beaches.

Within the Peninsula, two Abaco floor plans, one Burano and one Caprina design are currently available for purchase and immediate occupancy.

Ranging from 3,196 to 3,770 square feet of air-conditioned living space, these highly customizable single-family residences offer a range of options for homeowners to choose from. The common thread among all Peninsula estates is they are all ideally situated on the lake and boast incredible views of the lake and the TPC golf course in Treviso Bay, which is Naples’ only Tournament Players Club (TPC) course.

“We are very excited to have four fantastic move-in ready homes available right now in the Peninsula. Our high quality homes are ideal for seasonal or permanent residents and offer homeowners incredible amenities, including access to Treviso Bay’s TPC golf course,” says Curtis Gunther, Development Manager at The Peninsula.

Abaco, Burano and Caprina are single-story floor plan designs. The four bedroom, three and a half bathroom Abaco model is designed with an expansive master suite, optional study, lanai, outside dining area, swimming pool, spa and three-car garage. The slightly larger Burano model is equally as enticing at 3,515 square feet under air, with four bedrooms, four and a half bathrooms, expansive master suite, lanai, swimming pool and spa, and spacious great room. A furnished Burano model recently received an award for Overall Excellence in Construction and Design in the $2,000,001 – $2,500,000 category from the 2019 CBIA Parade of Homes. The coastal contemporary Caprina model includes 3,770 square feet of living area in a four bedroom, four and a half bath plus study floor plan with three-car garage and 5,180 total square feet.

The Peninsula recently welcomed it first move-up residents, the O’Brien family, to the neighborhood. Avid golfers, the O’Briens had visited Naples for over 25 years before purchasing a condominium in Treviso Bay

“We knew it was a great golf area,” Howard O’Brien says. “So we thought it would be a great place for a second home.”

As time passed, the family realized the need for a larger, more permanent home better suited for entertaining family and friends. “We also wanted to live on the golf course, with its peaceful atmosphere and panoramic views,” Lisa O’Brien says.

After visiting several luxury masterplanned communities throughout Naples, they were most attracted to the Peninsula at Treviso Bay. “Treviso Bay is just right,” says Howard. “We like the Peninsula because it is a very exclusive enclave within a larger, gated community with a fine club.”

“We love the design of the house, the way they’ve brought the indoors out and the outdoors in,” Lisa explains. “Its heavy doors and other building materials are of superior quality. We are creating a unique, fresh look for the interiors to complement the open floor plan and amazing views.”

Homes in the Peninsula are custom-built by Imperial Homes of Naples, designed by architect Jon Kukk of Kukk Architecture & Design, with interiors featuring coastal contemporary furnishings to offer a symbiotic balance to the modern architecture.

In addition, each home in the Peninsula is constructed with AERCON AAC concrete block: the stronger, more energy efficient alternative to conventional concrete.
